CP&A can work as the architect or as a consultant on public projects – counseling, questioning and planning to gain an overall perspective in determining next steps.   In order to make recommendations or create an accurate plan, they step into the user's shoes to gain an understanding from their perspective.   If ignored, then the end-user is ignored.   Examples of projects can be courthouses, fire and police departments, parks, municipal, county, state and federal facilities, etc.
