"Our buildings help share the history of where we've come from and where we're going."
CP&A has a soft spot for history. Historically significant structures should be salvaged, when possible, especially if they played a key role within the community's history and growth. Historical structures provide a window into the past, rewarding the users with a historical perspective they don't get everyday. CP&A believes this window should always be kept open. Their experience includes aspects of architectural restoration like historical preservation, that can involve extensive research into materials and methods of the period to adaptive re-use where a vintage structure is occupied for a contemporary use. Either approach rewards the user and the community.
